Job Description
This role will coordinate and implement strategic initiatives across the hospital ecosystem—covering digital transformation, integrated platforms, digital twin capabilities, IoT-enabled operations, automation and autonomous mobile systems—to enhance patient care, optimise operational performance and build sustainable manpower strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1) Strategic Implementation (Intelligent Hospital)
- Execute hospital technology innovation roadmap aligned to Operations Lead’s vision.
- Coordinate integration across operations, clinical systems and smart building systems.
- Support adoption of telehealth, AI/analytics, robotics, automation, wearables, digital twin and autonomous systems.
- Conduct horizon scanning on healthcare trends, policies and new technologies.
- Build partnerships with vendors, research institutions and innovation hubs.
2) Technology Project Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate technology projects across departments to ensure smooth rollout and adoption.
- Support business case, procurement and operational integration of systems.
- Implement governance to align operational needs, clinical workflows and building management.
- Ensure compliance, continuity and operational excellence during transformation.
3) Smart Operations & Digital Platforms
- Support implementation of integrated digital platforms for facilities, equipment, patient flow and operations.
- Drive IoT integration, real-time analytics and predictive insights for performance improvement.
- Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and operational metrics for monitoring and optimisation.
- Support scenario planning, capacity planning and predictive maintenance initiatives.
4) Autonomous Systems (AMR/AGV)
- Coordinate implementation of AMR/AGV for logistics, medication, waste and transport workflows. Support fleet planning, resource optimisation and operational efficiency tracking. Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual workload and improve patient safety. Ensure compliance with healthcare safety standards and regulatory requirements.
5) Stakeholder Management & Change Management
- Work closely with clinical, operations, facilities and leadership stakeholders to drive adoption.
- Coordinate vendor and external partner engagement for project success.
- Support project reporting and updates to senior leadership.
- Support change management activities to ensure smooth implementation.
6) Governance, Secretariat & Performance Tracking
- Provide secretariat support for innovation/tech workgroup (meetings, minutes, follow-ups).
- Track project scope, timeline, budget, risks and deliverables.
- Support quality management to meet operational, facilities and compliance standards.
- Monitor KPIs for transformation success (efficiency, service performance and outcomes).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related.
- 7–10 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare and technology innovations
- Proven experience in healthcare operations, programme delivery/coordination, or strategic implementation with exposure to digital health/technology.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, service delivery workflows, patient safety, clinical operations and facilities management.
- Experience in technology horizon scanning, market research, or strategic analysis preferred.
