Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage development processes for philanthropic efforts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of relevant experience, including five years in a managerial role. Responsibilities include engaging stakeholders, drafting proposals, and overseeing donation processes, emphasizing the importance of strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, science, arts or social sciences.
  • At least 10 years related experience and 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Experience in philanthropy work or event management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key Development processes to advance philanthropic goals.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • To effectively manage key Development processes (of Identification, Engagement, Solicitation and Stewardship of Donations) and coordinate the engagement, solicitation and stewardship efforts of internal and external stakeholders so as to advance philanthropic intent and goals
  • Assist the organisation to build interest/corporate ownership of philanthropy with clinicians, administrators and connectors on their roles in staff giving as well as attracting donor funds with identified causes for major gifts
  • Draft and vet proposals by working with clinicians and administrators to build compelling causes to prospective donors
  • To oversee and supervise the proper receipting of donations, processes and donor management records/databases, in the interest of governance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, science, arts and social sciences and/or other relevant disciplines
  • Degree with at least 10 years related/relevant experience and at least 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Preferably in philanthropy work, event management and marketing communications will be appreciated
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong analytical and good assessment acumen & capabilities
  • Well-versed knowledge of Excel, with a good working knowledge of pivot tables and some experience in information analytics will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with design software (ie. Canva, Capcut) and keen interest in new media modes of interface will be advantageous
  • Meticulous, ability to multi-task and plan effectively
  • Self-motivated team player with high integrity and able to work under pressure and tight timelines
