The position will lead a team of Application Specialists and assist the Deputy Director to shape PSB Academy technology vision, driving innovation, and ensuring IT systems align with business strategy. The Assistant Director and his/her team will oversee technology development, and digital transformation initiatives while collaborating with other stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
System & Applications
- Technology Management and Implementation
- Execute the company’s Applications strategy and technology roadmap.
- Support alignment of IT initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Identify emerging technologies that can provide competitive advantage.
- Applications Support, Implementation & Integration
- Manage and support software systems.
- Oversee design and deployment of new applications and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Monitor performance and optimize efficiency of technology resources.
- Ensure scalability and sustainability of technology solutions.
- Customize applications to fit specific business processes.
- Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Gather and analyze Business Units requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and application solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business users and vendors.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users.
3rd Party Systems
- Be the point of contact to support application issues.
- Monitor the project progression and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Education & Experience
- Requires a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in IT related fields.
- At least 5 years of team management experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in software system design, development, and maintenance.
- Technical Expertise
- Possess deep knowledge of software engineering, secure development, cloud computing, AI, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with enterprise systems and digital transformation.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications in Education Sector preferred.
- Experience with Emerging technologies, applications and software.
- Familiarity with databases, programming and server infrastructure.
- SQL Server, SQL Databases, Web programming, Software Development Life Cycle.
