Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager/Contracts Manager to assist in tender and contract administration. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, reviewing subcontractor claims, and maintaining quality systems within the contracts department. ASSISTANT CONTRACTS MANAGER / CONTRACTS MANAGER
Job Responsibilities:
  • To assist the Senior Contracts Manager or Senior Manager in Tender / Contract review in arriving at the tender sum.
  • To assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client’s representative. Review and preparing of response for claims and variation costs;
  • To compile subcontractor quotations and submit to Senior Contacts Manager or Senior Manager for review and approval;
  • To keep the Contracts Manager informed of all contractual and site matters;
  • To review and verify the Subcontractor’s / Supplier’s claims and prepare payment certificates and to obtain approval from various approving parties;
  • Preparation of final accounts and variation submissions;
  • To maintain the Quality System in the Contracts Department; and
  • Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent with 5 years’ relevant working experience.
  • Preferably have experience in construction/roadworks LTA / PUB projects
