Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, or holidays depending on shift needs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Passion for baking and a positive, team-oriented attitude!

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily baking operations, including mixing, shaping, and baking bread, pastries, cakes, and other goods.
  • Measure and prepare ingredients following bakery recipes and safety standards.
  • Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure products are baked to perfection.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
  • Help with inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Support packaging, labeling, and presentation of baked products.
  • Assist with special orders or seasonal baking projects as needed.
