About the role
Seeking an Art Director to provide direction for social media creatives and e-content for multiple client brands across industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead visual concepts and brand systems for concurrent campaigns across social and ecommerce.
- Translate briefs into visual ideas, storyboards, and rapid prototypes for stakeholder buy-in.
- Conceptualize images and use AI tools to generate, extend, and iterate images, GIFs, and videos; guide prompt strategy and refinement.
- Plan and art-direct AI-assisted and conventional photography, including lighting approach, composition, and shot sequencing.
- Direct and execute social-first content including short-form video, motion graphics, carousels, and statics.
- Interpret consumer insight, brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency while adapting for different audiences, platforms, and placements.
- Manage timelines, prioritize across multiple brands, and uphold high craft under tight deadlines.
- Learn and iterate fast based on creative performance data and adapt designs and approaches.
- Collaborate with designers, prompt engineers, motion editors, and client partners across geographies.
- Present and “sell” creative concepts through strong storytelling.
- Create visual identity guidelines based on client brand strategies and the competitive landscape.
Must-haves
- 4–6 years in art direction at advertising agencies or in-house teams serving multiple brands concurrently. Experience with FMCG clients and social media is mandatory.
- Strong photography sense including lighting, composition, styling, and on-set direction.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly create social-first video and visuals end-to-end, from concept to publish.
- Proficiency with AI creative tools for images and video, plus prompt crafting and iteration best practices.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or Premiere).
- Solid motion and editing fundamentals for social cutdowns and aspect ratios.
- Excellent taste, typography, and layout across static and motion.
- Mandatory: Proven work experience on FMCG brands (skincare/haircare strongly preferred), showing ability to operate within strict brand guidelines, regulatory guardrails, and global toolkit compliance. Applications without FMCG experience will not be considered.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, briefs, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with brand identity systems and campaign toolkits.
- Knowledge of color grading, retouching, and photo compositing.
What success looks like (first 90 days)
- Ship social-first campaigns for at least two brands with measurable engagement lift.
- Establish modular templates, LUTs, and motion presets for faster iteration.
- Document prompt libraries and style guides to standardize AI-assisted workflows.

Onsite, Singapore (MacPherson) — Monday to Friday
