Job description
- To provide technical support to projects and tender department.
- Setting up KPIs for CTS architectural team.
- Review and provide direction from technical aspect in the planning and execution of works on site.
- Lead and manage CTS architectural team in coordination design drawings with consultants to comply with authority requirements.
- Mentor CTS architectural teams by providing proper guidance and training.
- Ensure compliance with relevant design standards, in-house standards and project Design Criteria/ Client Brief/ Approved Concept.
- Provide advice and guidance in resolving technical issues and ensure resolve the issues timely.
- Review design drawings for value engineering and constructability consideration.
- Setting guidance in preparing technical submission for materials, construction methods and shop drawings.
- Advise the projects on contractual implication in relation to the technical issues.
- Ensure design, documentation works carried out by team members are correct and comply with codes and local authority requirements.
- Ensure various project submissions are made on time and follow up on approvals.
- Attend tender interviews upon submissions of tenders, quotations by subcons.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
- Assisting in review of architectural work suppliers and sub‑con selections in compliance to specifications.
- Take lead in as‑built drawings preparation / or collection, review and submission and collection, review and submission of O&M.
- Handing over of project to owners/town council/ authorities / MA/ etc.
- Assessment of sub‑cons claims / progress claims.
- Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.
- Other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in architectural discipline or a related discipline.
- Relevant certificates in architectural discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in design consultancy firm will have added advantage.
- Registered Architectural QP will have added advantage for consideration.
- Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
- Strong familiarity with authority submissions and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of BIM.
