ARCHITECTURAL MANAGER

Our client is a respected Building contractor in Singapore, who often gets awarded projects off the back of their fine reputation for delivering on previous projects. They have a healthy pipeline of projects with tenders in place for more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design Coordination:

  • Assist in coordinating design details between clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure architectural designs align with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Work closely with project teams to develop architectural designs, plans, and schedules.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure smooth progress.

2. Site Coordination:

  • Resolve on-site architectural issues, including drawing discrepancies and method statements.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure construction adheres to approved architectural plans.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
  • Review and prepare detailed project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings for contract and procurement purposes.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and project guidelines.
  • Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and materials.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain records of architectural plans, revisions, and project documentation.
  • Provide regular progress reports and updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and regulatory submissions.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project coordination.
  • Experience in Industrial Projects: Data Centres, Pharma, Logistics, Aviation, Semi‑conductor, Clean rooms, Aerospace projects.
  • Experience in Commercial Projects: Office, Shopping Centre, Greenfield Buildings.
Skills
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other architectural software is preferred.
