Job summary

A construction advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Drawing Manager. The role involves leading drawing coordination and ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the Singapore Construction Industry, adept knowledge of Autocad and BIM software, and proven leadership abilities. This position offers a salary range of $6,000 to $8,000 with a variable bonus, working Monday to Friday in Changi Business Park.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry.
• Experience in leading a team of coordinators and drafters in Shop drawing production.
• Candidates with experience in BIM projects are at an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead checking and coordination of Shop drawings with all respective trades.
• Review project specifications and technical clarifications.
• Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings from Consultants.
• Liaise and coordinate with Consultants and Subcontractors on design issues.

Architectural Drawing Manager

HQ at Changi Business Park [ Expo MRT ]
Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
Salary is $6,000 - $8,000+ Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]

JOB SCOPE / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involve and lead in checking and coordination of Shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors works)
• Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications
• Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
• Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants.
• Manage receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings
• Liaise and coordinate with Consultants, Authorities and Subcontractors on design issues.
• Assist the Project team on technical and coordination issues with Subcontractors.
• Attend and chair design technical meetings with Consultants and Subcontractors
• Assist the Project contracts department in variation order claims related to design changes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognized Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction or equivalent
• Min 10 years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry
• Well versed in Autocad, Revit / BIM software in Architectural/ Structural/ MEP. Candidates with experience in BIM projects are at an added advantage.
• Good understanding of the Singapore Construction Industry regulations (eg. Building code, BCA, URA and LTA)
• Experience in leading a team of coordinators and drafters in Shop drawing production, coordination, and document control.
