Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is looking for a skilled professional to manage architectural works on-site. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in reading construction drawings. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Report to the Assistant Project Manager, Site Manager, or Project Engineer.
  • Planning and coordination of architectural works on-site to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Supervise and inspect construction activities to confirm compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address technical and design-related challenges.
  • Review architectural drawings and ensure alignment with structural, mechanical, and electrical components of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor progress and resolve issues related to design and detailing, ensuring a seamless workflow.
  • Support the submission of architectural drawings, material samples, and method statements as required.
  • Liaise with the project team to resolve discrepancies and provide timely updates on project milestones.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management to support project delivery.
  • Lead and guide RC (Reinforced Concrete) workers, if applicable, to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in building or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with BIM/VDC tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
