Architectural Assistant
Studioshen is an architecture and design practice focused on climate-responsive, spatially efficient, and financially accountable architecture. We work across residential and selected commercial projects, with a strong emphasis on clear design logic, buildability, and disciplined execution.
We are looking for an Architectural Assistant to support project teams across all stages of design and delivery.
You will support the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through to construction. This role requires strong technical fundamentals, good design judgement, and a disciplined working approach. You will work closely with senior architects and directors, contributing meaningfully to both design development and documentation.
This role suits someone who wants to build solid architectural foundations, not just produce drawings.
Assist in concept, schematic, and detailed design development
Prepare architectural drawings, models, and presentations
Support authority submission and tender documentation
Coordinate drawings and information across project stages
Assist with detailing, material selection, and constructability studies
Support coordination with consultants (structural, M&E, QS, etc.)
Update drawings and documents based on design reviews and feedback
Maintain drawing standards, file structure, and documentation quality
Support internal design reviews and project discussions
Assist in site visits, site inspections, and documentation as required
Contribute to improving studio workflows and drawing standards
Manage time and deliverables responsibly across multiple tasks
Diploma or Degree in Architecture (or equivalent)
Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and conventions
Proficiency in Revit (or willingness to be fully Revit-based)
Good understanding of basic construction methods and detailing
Able to take direction, respond to feedback, and improve quickly
Disciplined, organised, and dependable
1–3 years of relevant architectural experience
Familiarity with Singapore authority submissions and regulations
Experience in residential projects
Basic understanding of climate-responsive design principles
Competency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling software
