Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department leads to plan, design, and optimise laboratory layouts for new developments and A&A projects.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops and meetings to understand operational workflows and translate user requirements into efficient spatial and functional programs.
• Ensure all planning and design work complies with current statutory requirements and relevant international standards, including Design for Safety, Design for Maintainability, and Universal Design.
• Develop functional diagrams, zoning layouts, adjacency matrices, and comprehensive space programs.
• Review and produce design documentation, working closely with architectural and MEP consultants.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client-side project teams throughout all phases to ensure design clarity, alignment, and successful project execution.
• Contribute to the development of scalable planning tools, workflows, and internal design standards to support organisational growth and consistency.
