A staffing service provider in Singapore is seeking an Application Support Analyst to manage operational workloads and provide troubleshooting support. The role requires handling issues on-call, performing disaster recovery drills, and deploying software updates. Working within the Embedded SRE organisation, the role will be expected to perform the RTB (run the business) activities for the business that we support. The Application Support Analyst will be expected to work on on-call rotations to handle, triage and elevate on alarms and issues that may arise during their shift. During periods where the analyst is not on rotation, the analyst is expected to perform other RTB activities, including but not limited to generating reports on the various kinds of operational workloads, reviewing capacity needs of the business, supporting and/or driving disaster recovery response drills, and supporting deployments.
The application support analyst will handle the day-to-day operations of the business. The candidate will need to demonstrate a structured and analytical approach to the identification, diagnosis and rectification of issues.
