We are seeking a highly skilledAnsible Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade automation solutions that improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for automating configuration management, application deployments, and routine operational tasks across complex environments. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and operations teams to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintainAnsible playbooks, roles, and inventories to automate configuration management, deployments, and system provisioning.
- Implement automation solutions for Linux-based environments, ensuring consistency, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Integrate automation workflows withServiceNow for incident, change, and request management.
- UseGit for version control, managing repositories, branching strategies, and peer code reviews.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts usingPython andShell scripting to support orchestration, monitoring, and system administration tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and translate operational requirements into scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation failures, performance issues, and configuration inconsistencies.
- Ensure automation solutions adhere to security best practices, access controls, and audit requirements.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by embedding Ansible automation into deployment and release processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation workflows, playbooks, and operational procedures.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks by adopting best practices, optimizing execution, and reducing technical debt.
- Provide guidance and support to operations teams on using and maintaining automation tools effectively.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Minimum5 years of experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, or systems engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise inAnsible, including playbook development, roles, variables, templates, and error handling.
- Proven experience usingGit for source control and collaborative development.
- Solid knowledge ofPython andShell scripting for automation and system-level tasks.
- Practical experience integrating automation withServiceNow workflows.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems administration and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is required and demonstrates advanced Linux and automation proficiency.
- Ability to analyze complex operational challenges and design effective automation solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on reliability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
