Work location: Central

Working hours: 5.5 days work week - Monday to Friday and half Sat, office hours

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Perioperative Support

• Prepare and maintain operating room readiness, including anaesthetic drugs and equipment.
• Assess patients pre‑operatively, perform safety checks, and assist anaesthetists during procedures.
• Provide perioperative nursing care, including circulating, monitoring, and post‑operative support.
• Guide and mentor junior staff to ensure quality nursing care.

• Maintain effective communication with patients and caregivers regarding procedures and care.

Professional Development

• Participate in ongoing nursing education and professional development.
• Mentor and precept junior staff; provide feedback and support to the team.
• Assist with unit‑based orientation and in‑service training.

Resource & Risk Management

• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment and consumables.
• Monitor and enforce infection control, safety protocols, and optimal OT utilization.

Key Requirements

• Min. Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Min. 2‑3 years’ experience as an anaesthetic / anaesthesia nurse in clinical settings, perioperative, operating theatre or surgical nursing.
• Must be a Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
• BCLS & AED Certified
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Caring and compassionate nature
