Job description

What the role is:

Overall, the role contributes to enhancing oversight, accountability, and safe deployment of impactful generative AI tools within NDHQ.

What you will be working on:

1. Support the implementation of a registry system to track GenAI use cases across NDHQ. This includes categorising use cases by key features (e.g. knowledge retrieval, summarisation, drafting etc), risk level, and data classification.
2. Support the development and deployment of GenAI use cases, by aligning AI tools’ features with governance standards such as output quality, accuracy, and safety, while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and data protection protocols.
3. Work closely with business users and subject matter experts to perform technology scans, assess and assemble resources required for prototyping, and benchmark the performance of AI tools.

What we are looking for:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in engineering AI solutions to relieve painpoints faced by users from various business domains (e.g. corporate, research, policy)
• Experience with data analysis, coding (e.g. Python), or machine learning concepts and application from prior coursework or projects.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders while maintaining project timelines.
• A willingness to learn, adapt, and explore emerging technologies in a fast-evolving digital landscape within WOG.
