Job summary

A leading aviation company in Singapore is looking for a skilled technician to perform chemical and mechanical treatments on engine components. This role requires a diploma in Mechanical or Aviation Engineering, and at least 3 years of experience in the aviation industry. You will be responsible for operating equipment, performing maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in the aviation industry.
  • Experience in handling and usage of chemical or related facility and equipment.
  • Good command of written English and engineering analytical skill.
  • Shift-pattern required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical/mechanical treatment on aero engine components per OEM manual requirements.
  • Operate equipment such as mixers, centrifuges, filtration units, etc.
  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment or facilities.
  • Safely collect in-process chemical samples regularly.
  • Record detailed maintenance records after performing tasks.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and facilities teams on issues.
  • Comply with safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

  • Perform chemical/mechanical treatment on aero engine components per OEM manual requirements
  • Operate equipment such as mixers, centrifuges, filtration units, etc; able to monitor and interpret parameters as needed.
  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment or facilities related to chemical processes
  • Safely collect in-process chemical samples regularly according to established sampling schedules and protocols
  • Record detailed maintenance records after performing
  • Collaborate with maintenance and facilities teams to diagnose and resolve equipment failures or utility disruptions
  • Rigorously comply with safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including standard work instructions and proper hazardous waste segregation
Requirements:
  • Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in aviation industry
  • Experience in handling and usage of chemical or related facility and equipment
  • Good command of written English and engineering analytical skill
  • Shift-pattern required
