Job summary

Job description

To deepen, widen and strengthen CMAS’ standing as a leading non-profit arts organisation, accorded with an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status.

FOCUS AREAS
  • leading strategic and general management of an Institution of Public Character, including its corporate governance, policies, resource, operations and financial management
  • working closely with the Board of Directors and different stakeholders to oversee fundraising and corporate governance and compliance including tax regulations to meet the organisation’s charity status objectives
  • overseeing budgets, recording of financial ins and outs, oversee bookkeeping and audit processes, HR - legal and contracts and administration
  • spearheading development and adoption of procedures and controls, to promote communication, adequate information flow to provide better management control and direction of the organisation
  • donor relationship development and stewardship - corporate donors, individual donors, crowdfunding
WORKING TOGETHER
  • development of corporate partnerships with Public Relations Executive under the direction of Artistic Director
  • development of community partnerships, garnering grants and foundations support with Education & Community Engagement Executive under the direction of Artistic Director
  • engagement and management of volunteers
  • support sales of programmes, tickets, merchandise and more
  • all-hands on deck during projects and production weeks e.g. events, concerts and more
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role or work within organisations with an IPC status
  • strong organisational skills with a high level of detail-orientedness
  • with fundamental knowledge and understanding of corporate governance practices, policies and procedures
  • with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport, establish trust, and collaborate effectively with others
  • possessing a strong sense of discipline and self-motivation
  • with flexibility to work weekends during production weeks

Ideal Start Date of Work: 1 February 2026
