Job summary

A dedicated learning centre for special needs children in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support financial operations. The role will involve maintaining accurate billing records, daily administrative tasks, and communication with families regarding payments. Ideal candidates should hold a diploma or degree in Finance, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.

As a learning centre with over 20 years of dedicated service to children with special needs, we recognise the pivotal role of our Accounts Assistant. This position is integral to the smooth running of our operations, ensuring that all financial records are maintained with the highest level of accuracy while supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our families and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the centre.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate billing and invoicing records, ensuring timely issuance and collection of payments.
  • Carry out daily recordkeeping duties, including accurate data entry and filing.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with families regarding payments, schedules, and related enquiries.
  • Assist with various ad hoc tasks to support the centre’s operational and service needs.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (training will be provided for our web-based billing system).
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with families and colleagues in a supportive manner.

Working hours : 5 working days (Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm)

Work location : 458A Joo ChiAT road, Nearest MRT TE (Marine Parade).
