  • Pack stocks and liaise with dispatchers on delivery.
  • Conduct stock counts before and after exhibitions.
  • Handle the application of inward and outward permit.
  • Perform the submission of invoice from suppliers in system.
  • Update data and generate ad-hoc reports.

The Merchandising Control Assistant is responsible for receiving stock, organizing distribution to stores, and managing inter-store transfers. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations, minimizing stock shortages or overages, and ultimately maximizing sales and profitability. This role plays a vital part in optimizing inventory management processes and supporting overall business goals.

Inventory and Operation Support
  • Ensure that stocks are properly entered into the system through bulking-in and itemization.
  • Allocate the right stock to the right store by reviewing stock levels.
  • Rotate the stocks for better inventory management and higher sales rate.
  • Pack stocks and liaise with dispatchers on delivery and inter-store transfers.
  • Conduct stock counts before and after exhibitions and store opening, ensuring alignment with stock lists.
  • Handle the application of inward and outward permit.
  • Perform the submission of invoice from suppliers/vendors in system (Medius).
  • Update data and generate ad-hoc reports as required to support merchandising operations.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned, contributing to boarder goals of the merchandise team.
