Job summary

A leading financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and a full set of general ledger functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities include preparing monthly reports, managing tax compliance, and ensuring proper filing of financial records. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and full set GL functions.
  • Provide operations support in terms of inventory planning, getting quotations, setting prices, processing orders and handling goods receiving, ensuring paperwork is filed properly.
  • Prepare monthly operations reports and sales commission computation.
  • Review quarterly GST submission and prepare yearly ECI computation
  • Handle all statutory reporting requirements and external audit processes.
  • Manage the tax compliance and develop internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure completeness of billing documents, proper housekeeping and filing of all necessary financial records.
  • Ad-hoc accounts monitoring and other duties as and when required.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under stress with good sense of responsibility and attention to details.
