Job summary

A leading ship management company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full set of vessel accounts and generate financial reports. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Business and has at least 1 year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include responding to vessel owners' queries and ensuring compliance with the owners' requirements within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing full set of vessel accounts.
• 1 year of experience in accounting field, vessel accounting is a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of vessel accounts, including reports and queries.
• Generate financial reports as needed.
• Ensure compliance with owners' requirements within the timeline.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Full set of vessel accounts (Includes PO accruals, portage bill , Opex reporting, etc)
• Generate Financial Reports
• Respond to vessel owners' queries
• Working fund request and calculations for deficit / surplus working fund
• Complete the accounts in compliance with the owners’ requirements within time line
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business Faculty
• Minimum 1 year full set of accounts, experience in vessel accounting is an advantage
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
