Job summary

Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 2 years of relevant experience are preferred. Fluency in Korean is a plus. Job description

This position supports our Singapore Office (the Shared Service Center) and its subsidiaries in Asia.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual adjusting entries, including accruals, prepaids, etc.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Assist in full set of accounts performed by the manager
  • Support monthly GST submission to IRAS, tax planning and proper tax filings
  • Assist in audit-related matters, liaising with auditors on the preparation of schedules and responding to their queries for seamless sign-off
  • Assist to implement and align with group reporting framework and financial analysis
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to work on various accounting duties
  • Coordinate with HQ and HOD to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Adhere to accounting and financial procedures, systems and compliance with accounting standards
  • Manage financial operations in Asia countries and auditing compliance with financial processes
  • Administer cash flow management, such as monitor payments, access invoicing in systems, track the outstanding AP/AR for Asia subsidiaries
  • Align and implement according to the group reporting framework, accounting treatment and financial analysis for the business as well as operations
  • Provide any ad-hoc duties as assigned by HOD
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business (Finance, Accounting etc.)
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with SAP system preferred
  • Candidates fluent in Korean is preferred as the role requires dealing with Korean-speaking counterparts
  • Able to work independently & within strict time constraints
  • Willing to travel to other countries in Asia as and when required
