Job summary

A temporary staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a finance role responsible for handling accounts payable/receivable functions. The candidate will manage invoice processing, ensure compliance with financial procedures, and assist in cash flow management. This position is critical for reconciling vendor accounts and supporting audits. The contract is for 8 months, with working hours Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, offering a rate of $10-$15 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling AP, AR, GL functions for assigned accounts.
  • Familiarity with invoice processing and financial procedures.
  • Ability to manage cashflow and undertake financial closing activities.

Job description

- Temporary (8 months)
- Monday – Friday (8.30am – 6pm)
- One Marina Boulevard
- $10-$15/hr

Job Responsiblities:
  • Handle AP/AR/GL functions for the assigned accounts
  • Process and verify invoices
  • Ensure that all invoices are processed in accordance with financial procedures and are duly supported with properly approved documentations
  • Responsible in scheduling payments and ensuring sufficient cashflow
  • Handle queries on invoices and payments for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare monthly vendor statement of accounts reconciliations
  • Process PO requests and ensure they are in compliant with the procurement policies
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders for Finance related maters
  • Prepare journal entries and management accounts
  • Perform month end and year-end financial closing activities
  • Assist with internal and external audit queries
  • Assist in system implementation projects and provide support in user acceptance tests
  • Any other Ad hoc duties as assigned
