A financial services company in Singapore is looking for an Executive to assist with month-end closing and full set of accounts. Responsibilities include accounts management, cash flow projections, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. Training will be provided for candidates with potential.

Job Summary

  • The Executive will report directly to the Finance Manager to Assist in month end closing and full set of accounts for several of Companies. Key responsibilities include data entries, assist in month-end and year-end close processes, and collecting financial data across entities.

Our ideal candidate should demonstrate interest in managing accounting activities, with strong interest in accounting and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in month end closing and partial or full sets of accounts for several of Companies;
  • Perform Accounts Payable and Receivable, or General Ledger and Fixed Assets functions;
  • Prepare and monitor cash flows projections;
  • Prepare quarterly GST reporting;
  • Prepare and update monthly bank reconciliation;
  • Assist in annual budgeting exercise and other monthly reporting matters;
  • Maintain good documentation and filing system;
  • Other ad-hoc assignments will be assigned to you from time to time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field preferred;
  • Candidates with higher skill set will be considered for senior positions.
  • Training will also be provided.
  • Diploma in Accounting or ACCA and above is preferred;
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications;
  • Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs) will be a plus;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin;
  • Able to work independently as well as a Team;
  • Meticulous, well-organised and good interpersonal skill with positive attitude;
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced work environment.
