About the role

AcuMed Medical Pte Ltd, a leading provider of medical solutions, is seeking an Accounts Executive to join their team in the West Region. This full‑time position is an excellent opportunity for a budding Accountant to experience the day‑to‑day operations in maintaining the financial health and compliance of our group of companies.

What you'll be doing

• Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections
• Resolve any discrepancies or queries related to AR & AP
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all AR & AP transactions
• Processes invoices for payments
• Review and ensure entries in system are correct
• Update and reconcile accounts with bank statements
• Prepare financial summaries and management accounts for reporting
• Assist in preparation for audit tax filing and reporting and group consolidation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the medical or healthcare industry
• Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of Singapore’s financial reporting standards
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) applications
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills (e.g., government bodies, auditors, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Familiarity with financial accounting and reporting software, such as SAP, Autocount
