Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is looking for individuals to manage financial data and accounts. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data for reports, managing invoicing and collections, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Accountancy, be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, and have strong time management skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in accountancy or higher, preferably in Accountancy.
  • Only Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident.
  • Prior experience in similar roles will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Experience in Info-Tech Accounting System is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze financial data for monthly management reports.
  • Issue invoices to customers and manage collections.
  • Responsible for Accounts Payables and Receivables compliance.
  • Ensure timely month-end closing and reconciliation.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure timely collection of debts.
  • Handle all bank matters including reconciliations.
  • Prepare quarterly GST filings.
  • Manage inventory and facilitate accounting close.

Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Compile and analyze financial data for the preparation of monthly management reports, annual audit and tax documentation.
  2. Timely issue invoice to customers and matching of collections.
  3. Responsible for Accounts Payables and Receivables, in compliance with financial policies and procedures, and accounting standards.
  4. Ensure timely month-end closing and reconciliation.
  5. Responsible for effectively communicating with customers through phone and email to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
  6. Handling all bank matters including bank reconciliations for the Subsidiary companies.
  7. Responsible for full sets of accounts for the Associated companies.
  8. Prepare quarterly GST filling.
  9. Inventory management.
  10. Facilitate the monthly accounting close by preparing necessary journal entries and generating detailed audit schedules.
  11. Serve as a key liaison for external auditors during the annual field audit and assist in resolving annual tax queries.
  12. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Only Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident.
  2. Minimum Diploma in accountancy or or higher, preferably in Accountancy
  3. Prior experience in similar roles will be advantageous
  4. Proactive and self-driven with a positive attitude and ambition to grow within our Group of companies
  5. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Able to thrive in a team basedenvironment.
  6. Good time management skill with the ability to multitask and meet tight reporting deadline.
  7. Proficient in MS Office.
  8. Experience in Info-Tech Accounting System will be an added advantage
