Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing, including accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Analyze accounting and costing data to identify trends.
  • Maintain accurate cost accounting records and conduct inventory valuation.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, including departmental budget compilation.
  • Prepare quarterly GST returns and support corporate tax computation.
  • Support audits, including preparing schedules and responding to queries.
  • Maintain documentation for financial, accounting, and costing processes.

Accounts & Costing Executive

  • Location: Jurong Island, Singapore (Company Transport Provided)
  • Salary: S$3,000 – S$4,500/month
  • Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM

Support accounting and costing operations in a leading chemical/manufacturing company. Gain hands‑on exposure to full set of accounts, financial reporting, cost analysis, and budgeting, while collaborating with internal stakeholders in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month‑end and year‑end closing, including accounting entries, adjustments, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and management/costing reports
  • Analyze accounting and costing data to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Maintain accurate cost accounting records, monitor variances, and conduct inventory valuation (RM, WIP, FG)
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, including departmental budget compilation, fixed/lease asset depreciation, and material usage planning
  • Prepare quarterly GST returns and support corporate tax computation
  • Support audits (statutory, internal, J‑SOX), including preparing schedules, responding to queries, and ACRA XBRL filings
  • Maintain documentation for financial, accounting, and costing processes
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and costing experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and corporate tax
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is a plus
