Job summary

A financial services company is seeking an experienced candidate for an accounts payable role in Singapore. Responsibilities include managing the accounts payable function, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring supplier payment accuracy. The ideal candidate should have at least a Diploma in Finance and 3 years of experience in a relevant field. Knowledge of the Accpac Accounting system and accounting certifications are required. This position offers a 5-day work week and the possibility of immediate commencement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Accounting certificates are mandatory.
  • Knowledge in Month End closing and Project Costing.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the accounts payable function and maintain records.
  • Ensure supplier bank account numbers are accurate.
  • Reconcile bank statements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer the accounts payable function and maintain appropriate records
  • Check to ensure online bank account numbers of suppliers are set up accurately and all payments are properly authorised.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Invoicing
  • Petty Cash Reimbursement
  • Month End closing
  • Data entry, administration duty and any other task as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
  • Accounting certificates is a must.
  • Knowledgeable with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking/Payment, Month End closing, Project Costing and Petty Cash Reimbursement.
  • Data entry, admin duty and any other task as assigned.
  • Experience in Accpac Accounting system
