Role Overview

Mercor is partnering with a cutting‑edge AI research initiative to generate high‑quality Excel‑based training data for financial modeling. We’re seeking experienced finance specialists with deep Excel expertise to help synthesize realistic, structurally complex spreadsheets across key financial domains. This short‑term, project‑based engagement offers a unique opportunity to contribute domain knowledge to frontier model development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and write detailed prompts for generating complex financial Excel models
• Review and refine AI‑generated spreadsheets for structural integrity and formula accuracy
• Ensure financial logic, dynamic formulas, and input‑calculation separation are correctly implemented
• Contribute models such as amortization schedules, lease accounting (ASC 842), bank reconciliations, and fixed asset rolls
• Deliver fully functional, formula‑dense Excel files that meet rigorous quality standards

You will be given access to State‑of‑the‑Art AI Agent that help you created advanced excels!!

Ideal Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, modeling, and spreadsheet architecture
