  • Monitor the Branch’s daily operations to ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and policies.
  • Work with external auditors and tax consultants on accounting matters.
  • Liaise with internal departments on the Branch’s accounting and tax affairs.
  • Monitor daily nostro account balances for treasury purposes.
  • Prepare daily MAS reconciliations.
  • Perform daily operational checks, including balance sheet and P&L reviews.
  • Handle audit confirmations and reply to verification requests.
  • Prepare and monitor all MAS regulatory reports.
  • Prepare and monitor monthly nostro reconciliations.

Job Description
  • Monitor the Branch’s daily operations to ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures, MAS Notices, and the Banking Act.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and policies, and apply any required changes to Branch processes.
  • Work with external auditors and tax consultants on accounting, audit, and tax-related matters (ad-hoc).
  • Liaise with internal departments on the Branch’s accounting and tax affairs.
  • Monitor daily nostro account balances for treasury purposes.
  • Prepare daily MAS reconciliations.
  • Perform daily operational checks, including balance sheet and P&L reviews.
  • Handle audit confirmations and reply to verification requests.
  • Prepare and monitor all MAS regulatory reports.
  • Prepare and monitor monthly nostro reconciliations, including outstanding item follow-ups.
  • Perform monthly inter-office interest calculations.
