Job summary

A leading airline company based in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Payable role focused on payroll costs. The successful candidate will handle payroll analysis, support reports with SAP knowledge, and ensure timely processing of claims and loans. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports for Payroll Cost analysis.
  • Generate grade reports from Business Warehouse.
  • Investigate unreconciled items in suspense accounts.
  • Process claims timely as stipulated.
  • Maintain and monitor staff loans.
  • Raise Accounts Payable for FWL and CPF submissions.
  • Perform quarterly reconciliation of staff loans.
  • Conduct payroll accuracy checks.
  • Backup payroll cost reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in monthly and annual payroll cost analysis.
  • Act as IT administrator for payroll department.

Job description
Key responsibilities
  • Prepares reports and supporting schedules for the Payroll Cost analysis
  • Generate grade report from Business Warehouse for the reconciliation of the figures with SAP figures in preparation of the divisional report
  • Investigates and follow up on unreconciled/open items in the suspense accounts on a timely basis, and ensuring that the items are cleared promptly by the targeted departmental Key Performance Indicator (KPI) on a monthly basis.
  • Processes/submits claims on a timely basis by the stipulated timeline and ensures prompt receipt and allocation of the claims from the Government.
  • Maintains and monitors staff loans
  • Raises Accounts Payable for Foreign Worker Levy (FWL), Central Provident Fund submissions etc.
  • Performs quarterly reconciliation of staff loans and debts owed by ex-employees.
  • Performs random payroll accuracy checks to detect errors and ensure recovery actions are taken.
  • Back-up for reporting and analysis of payroll cost and allowances.
  • Back up to the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, half-year and annual analysis on the company’s payroll costs
  • IT administrator for payroll department
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accountancy
  • Knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting/Controlling/Payrolls systems will be an advantage
  • Meticulous
