About the job Accounting & Finance Manager

One of our global ship owner clients is looking to hire an Accounting & Finance Manager. This is a new additional headcount to the team and the incumbent will need to have good experience in financial consolidation and Singapore Tax filing, as well as good knowledge of International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS). The ideal candidate would have at least 10 years of relevant experience in Accounts or Audit, with minimum 3-5years experience in managerial position.

Responsibilities

  • Review consolidated reports of the company and the group
  • Review subsidiaries' financial and budget reports
  • Manage budget process and prepare budget reports
  • Assist in M&A and new projects
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Liaise with subsidiaries and parent company
  • Liaise with other department colleagues and suppliers (when necessary)
  • Liaise with auditors for audit matters and audit schedules
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance, or Professional certification such as CPA/ ACCA or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in Accounts or Audit field
  • Have experience in management of a department, financial consolidation and Singapore Tax filing*
  • Good knowledge of International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS)*
