A finance solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled accounting professional responsible for managing all accounting functions including invoicing, accounts receivable, and payroll. The role requires handling financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with tax regulations. Candidates should have a degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 4 years of experience. Strong knowledge in accounting systems like QuickBooks is preferred. This position also involves supervising an admin assistant to ensure smooth operations.
This position is needed to handle all accounting and finance functions, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, ledger entries, budgeting, financial reporting, audits, payroll and tax for both IMR Test Labs and the Laser Peening divisions in Singapore. Additional duties include supervision of the Admin & Accounts Assistant to ensure efficient day-to-day office admin operations.
Manage all invoicing activities for IMR Test Labs Singapore and the Laser Peening division.
Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring timely billing, collections, and payments.
Perform accurate and timely ledger entries.
Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
Manage month-end closing activities and prepare financial and management reports.
Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Support quarterly and annual tax filings, including GST reporting, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Coordinate and support internal and external financial audits, including annual statutory audits.
Provide monthly employee time sheet to outsourced payroll agency and ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
Supervise and provide guidance to the Admin & Accounts Assistant, ensuring efficient execution of accounting and administrative tasks to support efficient laboratory admin operations.
Assist in other finance and administrative tasks as required by management.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a small-to-medium enterprise.
Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, payroll and taxation.
Experience with budgeting, audits and month-end closing.
Proficient in accounting and ERP systems. QuickBooks experience is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
