Job Description
  • Compiling full set of accounts at a group and subsidiary levels, prepare monthly management report and analysis, weekly bank cashflow reporting back to the headquarter in China. Prepare reports in mandarin as our key management team and China headquarters require mandarin reports.

  • Preparation of consolidated accounts and reports for Singapore group for internal and external reporting purposes.

  • Daily finance and bookkeeping matters such as preparing and processing payment vouchers, updating and monitoring accounting system and cashflow, and preparing payroll, payslips and IRAS payroll reporting.

  • Prepare business plan, forecasting and budgeting reports.

  • Serve as point of contacts in accounting and liaise with group’s level finance or accounting team to keep proper filing of all communication and administrative document.

  • Manage the relationships with the regulators and service providers including auditors, tax accountants, corporate & legal advisors, bankers.

  • Liaise with external auditors and consultants, on interim and annual audit, and company tax filing.

  • Monitor and manage transactions flow to ensure compliance and avoid pitfalls of tax, GST, advise on complex accounting, banking & anti-money laundering etc.

  • Legal entity set-up, incorporation process and legal compliance.

  • Compiling full set of accounts and finance matters for related companies as instructed by management.

  • Prepare memo and/or reports in mandarin for mandarin speaking management.

  • Any other finance related matters not stated above.

  • Assist in administrative matters and any ad-hoc tasks when required.

Qualification
  • Degree or Professional Certificate in Finance or Accountancy or related field with relevant experiences of minimum 5 years.

  • Strong understanding of accounting practices and previous experience of handling full-set account is required.

  • Proficiency or experience in Accounting Software. (eg. Realtimme)

  • Attention to details and analytical.

  • Payroll experience is preferred.

  • Previous experience with commodity trading companies or similar is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and cope well with stress in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English & Mandarin as our management and staff consists of some mandarin speaking only personnel. Singaporean is preferred.
