Job summary

A Singapore-based company is seeking an experienced accountant with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in the food and beverage sector. The role requires proficient use of accounting software, knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, and strong organizational skills. Key responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, processing salaries, and generating reports. Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the F&B sector.
  • Familiar with Singapore tax and reporting requirements.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Record Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in accounting software.
  • Perform daily income verification through various payment methods.
  • Complete bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
  • Accurately process staff salaries on time.
  • Assist in maintaining accounting software and stock checking.
  • Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Orders (DO).
  • Organize supporting financial documents and generate Profit & Loss reports.
  • Assist with IRAS submissions related to tax.
  • Support documentation for imports and exports.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) into accounting software
  • Perform daily income verification (Nets, Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
  • Bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring
  • Process staff salaries accurately and on time
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining accounting software
  • Stock checking and system updates
  • Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Orders (DO)
  • File and organize supporting financial documents
  • Generate Profit & Loss (P&L) reports
  • Assist in IRAS submissions (GST, Corporate Tax, Employee Income Tax)
  • Support with import and export documentation
  • Provide administrative and reporting assistance to the Manager
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Relevant accounting experiences for 3 years and above, preferably in the F&B sector
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Autocount, or similar)
  • Knowledge of Singapore tax and reporting requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
