A recruitment agency is seeking an Account Supervisor to manage financial reporting and oversee an accounting team in Singapore. This role involves preparing and reviewing accounts, managing cash flow planning, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel are necessary. The position offers exposure to multi-entity reporting and career development opportunities.
Location: Jurong East, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
You should be familiar with audit processes and GST submissions, have experience supervising and coaching subordinates, and be capable of handling and reviewing accounts for a group of companies.
This is a hands‑on role within the Group Finance Department, focused on strengthening financial reporting, internal controls, and overall finance operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee accounting and reporting matters across SEA markets, manage the in‑house accounting team in Singapore.
You will also work closely with tax and audit consultants, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and act as a finance business partner to senior stakeholders.
Prepare and review full sets of accounts for multiple entities in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Perform month‑end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain accounting schedules
Manage monthly cash flow planning, including monitoring payments and receipts
Prepare, analyse, and review management reports to provide actionable financial insights
Supervise and review accounting team’s work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain proper documentation, filing, backups, and data confidentiality
Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely tax and statutory submissions
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external parties
Enhance internal controls, improve reporting processes, and drive operational efficiency
Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Proactive, self‑driven, and able to meet tight deadlines
Team‑oriented with good communication skills
Familiarity with QuickBooks is an advantage
Intermediate Excel skills (e.g. PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
