Job summary

A leading engineering corporation in Singapore is looking for a skilled financial and account management professional. This role involves preparing reports in Chinese, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2-5 years of experience, preferably in the construction sector. Strong communication skills and knowledge of accounting software are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage financial and business reports in Chinese, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors.
  • Reconcile financial statements.
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare payment through Internet banking.
  • Prepare cash flow projections weekly or monthly.
  • Year-end audit preparation.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of Xero Accounting software

Education

  • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by management.
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge in MS Excel, MS Office, Unleashed & Xero & Zoho Accounting software would be an added advantage.
  • Prepare payment through Internet banking.
  • Prepare Cash flow projections weekly or monthly.
  • Year-end audit preparation.
  • Any other duties assigned by superior.
