Job summary

A leading financial services provider in Singapore is seeking a Finance Officer with at least 2 years of accounting experience. Responsibilities include posting financial data, preparing full sets of financial statements, and managing tax returns. Qualifications

Job Description
  • Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system, according to instructions
  • Understand fully the internal sales systems and procedures.
  • Abiding by company procedures and accounting principles.
  • Maintain a collaborative and effective working relationship with customers, internal partners and stakeholders, and supply chain.
  • Prepare full set of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements (management accounts)
  • Responsible for all statutory filings and liaison with External Auditor, Tax Agent and Authorities
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
  • To receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment (AP & AR).
  • Support and assist General Manager if required.
  • Any other area of responsibilities (adhoc financial and administrative tasks) as and when the company deems necessary. Any other adhoc task assigned by General Manager and/or Director
Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least O’Level / Diploma in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • Administrative experience will be an advantage.
  • Preferably to have at least experience in full set of accounts as this role will handle accounts by entities.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-pace environment

Relevant skills and qualifications include experience with logistics and supply chain, and a demonstrated trackrecord of successful service operations, attendance as well as references.

Additionally, proficiency in logistics software and system is a plus.
