A well-known organization in education seeks a candidate for academic planning and scheduling in Singapore. The role involves preparing overall schedules, managing resources with Syllabus Plus, and liaising with stakeholders. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree and 1-3 years of experience in academic planning. Strong knowledge of educational qualifications locally and internationally is essential. The position offers up to $3,500 monthly plus a bonus, with a 5-day work week.

Prepare Overall Schedule based on programme information.
Plan and schedule timetables with scheduling system (Syllabus Plus) and release timetables within the given timeframe.
Work with Academic Directors to schedule assignments to academics (Full Time / Associates) and to ensure full-time academics are prioritized and optimally assigned.
Liaise with vendors for outsourced tasks, such as lecturer placement, issuance of contract, payroll processing, assessment marking, etc and support in providing necessary data and information where required.
Managing and updating the pool of Associated Lecturers.
Daily checking of assigned classes to ensure class starts as per scheduled.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders on scheduling related matters: students’ pathway, teaching load etc
Provide accurate information and schedule promptly and updates to relevant stakeholders as and when necessary.
Plan and manage resources (e.g. room, lecturers) using Syllabus Plus to ensure smooth delivery of programmes.
Input, maintain and update information and data to student management system and / or other applicable applications.
Ensure all assigned teaching staff and modules are registered with CPE.
Liaise with the Programme Management team for student’s pathway, tutorial groupings, assessments, etc
Work with Exam Team to plan examination schedules for assigned programmes.
Liaise with Exam Centre for main and re-exams.
Support in providing data during budgeting exercise.
Support in conducting orientation to newly appointed associate lecturer.
Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.
Diploma / Degree holder in any discipline with 1-3 years of experience
1-2 years of relevant working experience in planning preferred.
Good understanding of higher education qualifications in Singapore and Internationally.
Assist in events and orientation 2-4 times per year
