Responsibilities

• Responsible to perform, depending on the section posted, a variety of test procedures according to the standards set in the Laboratory with little direct supervision by a senior staff
• Routine sample processing such as spinning and aliquoting of patient samples.
• Routine qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on blood, CSF (cerebrospinal fluid), urine and other body fluids.
• Routine chemistry procedures including microscopy (urine, dysmorphic RBCs) and serology (dengue, influenza covid combo test, urine preg)
• Minor equipment testing (iSTAT, glucometer, hemochron, urine dipstick)
• Minor equipment validation (Timer, pipette, thermometer).
• Administrative section - responsible to perform registration of patient samples, handling telephone inquiries by clients and printing and faxing of patient results. Result retrieval and record/specimenkeeping.

• Possess at least a Degree in Biomedical Science
• Able to commit to shift hours
• Able to start work in Jan
