A global specialty insurer in Singapore is seeking graduates for their Underwriting programme. This initiative emphasizes on-the-job experience, professional skill training, and permanent employment from day one. Graduates will rotate through various underwriting divisions and receive comprehensive guidance to ensure their success in the insurance industry. Candidates must show strong teamwork skills, a commitment to relationship building, and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement, alongside a solid academic background.

The Asia Pacific offices are located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai, Mumbai and Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne and currently there are 120 colleagues in this region. Working closely with underwriting teams in London, Markel Asia is empowered to underwrite risk on behalf of Markel’s Syndicate 3000 at Lloyd’s.
This programme will be run by Markel International Singapore Pte Ltd. As a graduate on the Asia Underwriting programme, you’ll be assigned to one of the following underwriting divisions.
