Job summary

A maritime industry organization in Singapore is seeking an administrative assistant for the Independent Marine Company / Marine Manpower Sandbox (IMC/MMS) project. Responsibilities include managing applications, ensuring document completeness, and liaising with government agencies. This role offers development opportunities and may lead to a full-time position upon successful project conclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration, operation and management of the IMC/MMS project.
  • Handle enquiries; provide guidance on application process; process applications.
  • Ensure documents received are complete and accurately captured in the database.
  • Investigate feedback or complaints from companies.
  • Review documentations; generate management reports.
Job description
  1. Assist in the administration, operation and management of the Independent Marine Company / Marine Manpower Sandbox (”IMC/MMS”) project
    1. Applications Management: handle enquires; provide guidance on application process; prompt processing of applications in accordance to the checklist.
    2. Database Management: Ensure documents received are complete and saved on designated storage; ensure accurate capture of data; ensure database is kept up to date.
    3. Handle feedback/complaints: Investigate feedback or complaints from companies and follow through on appropriate actions.
    4. Review Management: review documentations; investigate and identify discrepancies and follow through with companies; generation of management reports.
  2. Government Agencies and Council Members Liaison
    1. Work with relevant government agencies and Council Members on IMC/MMS matters where required.
    2. Perform other general duties relating to IMC/MMS where requested.
  3. Others
    1. Undertake any other duties or tasks as may be assigned by the Executive Director from time to time, aligned with the role and organisational needs.
    2. These responsibilities will be consistent with the general scope of the position and will not override or diminish the core duties listed above.
