Position Details
Required Experience: 2-3 years of experience.
Target joining date: ASAP.
Hiring Module (Perm/Contract): Contract.
Preferred Nationality, Gender and Age: Any Nationality, Male.
Monthly Salary & Benefits: 15K – 18K Max.
Bonus or Commissions: N/A.
Medical Insurance (Self & Family): Yes.
Contract Duration: One Year Extendable based on Work Performance.
Working days/hours: 8-9 Hours – 6 Days but Must be flexible.
Min Qualifications: Bachelors’ of Engineering, Mechanical preferred (electrical and chemical as 2nd option).
Targeted Industries: Fabrication companies/EPC/Production/Equipment Manufacturing Background.
Location: Al-Khobar.
Interview Method / process: Teams followed by Face to Face (2-3 rounds).
Additional Info: Will have Some travel mostly among GCC Countries.
Valid KSA DL is preferred.
Reporting to: Project Manager.
Key Skills
- Ability to work independently as per Project plan and update action trackers.
- Demonstrated experience with customer focused activities on project execution and monitoring.
- Strong interpersonal skills including Communication, Negotiation, Effective Problem Solving and Risk identification / Mitigation planning.
- Knowledge of Major Manufacturing Processes.
- Manages vendors and contractors together with Chain and QC.
- Provides regular progress reporting and projection of cost to complete + updated schedule to Director of Operations.
- Drives his resources (engineering, supply chain, QC) toward higher efficiency and broader skills / capabilities.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years Technical experience of Engineering, Manufacturing or Project Management.
- Technical qualification at degree or higher level of education.
- Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing).
Accountabilities
- Manage all phases of the project, with technical assistance from engineering, including pre-ordering sales support.
- Budget/quotation phase, contract review of orders, coordinating vendors and sub-contractors, presenting technical solutions to customer, ensuring final customer acceptance at site. Support in project planning phase for Cost, Schedule, Scope, Resource planning.
- Lead projects with the support of a coach/mentor; Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects.
- Define project planning using planning tools including Visual Project Management and daily management.
- Ensure the scope of the project is maintained. Study project scope and customer specifications.
- Resolution of major quality issues either Supplier, Internal or Customer.
- Responsible for project completion within budget.
- Support the planning and management of projects’ communications and reporting with the customers, project team, management and all involved stakeholders.
- Participate in Pre-order Risk Assessments: Identify projects’ risks and plan and manage risks responses (OFMEA).
- Manage, Follow-up, check, challenge and support project suppliers’ progress: Supplier Monitoring for Schedule OTD.
- Maintain a technical understanding of the job done by the team members in their area of expertise (mechanical, chemical, electrical, automation etc.).
- Daily and weekly management of project team and outside resources (engineering, supply chain, QA/QC, documentation, HSE).
- Weekly reporting to and tracking for Critical actions.
- Anticipate support needs and site supervision during project delivery stage.
- Provide input on lessons learned from one component of program to avoid any similar risk on associated components of other project under the program continuous improvement.
