What you’ll do
  • Lead comprehensive management of production quality processes including IQC, IPQC, OBA, and OQC for Ethernet switch products.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure PFMEA, Process Flow, and QCP are well managed prior to each NPI build phase.
  • Contribute to product quality criteria and determine if the product meets expectations, emphasizing Ethernet switch-specific details.
  • Develop, design, control and meet deliverables, including finalizing quality plans, manufacturing documentation, inspection documentation, and test metrology.
  • Perform and lead root cause analyses for complex Ethernet switch quality issues and implement robust CAPA/CAR actions.
  • Oversee quality issues on the RMA line and feed CAPA to the production line.
  • Facilitate Contract Manufacturer audits focusing on QMS, ESD control, and Ethernet-specific requirements; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Review and verify non-conforming materials to initiate and drive corrective actions as required.
  • Contribute to final product release activities per procedures, schedules and gate exit requirements.
  • Develop and prepare documentation, post reports, drive quality metrics and communication prior to NPI builds and Sustaining programs.
  • Drive teams responsible for issues until a decision or solution is reached; track progress in JIRA and understand BOM/components with PLM systems (e.g., Arena, Agile).
  • Collaborate with JDM/ODM DRIs to review potential improvements addressing quality issues and risks.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS degree in Quality, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years in network switch manufacturing
  • Experience in managing NPI processes and sustaining quality operations
  • Experience with industry standards for Ethernet switches (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt, IEC, UL, ISO, etc.)
  • Excellent computer skills (Windows/Mac, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Internet search)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • MSA, Cpk, Gage R&R, SPC knowledge; 7QC Tools
  • Willingness to develop program-specific quality plans
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Certified Auditor (ISO 9001, TL 9000)
  • Advanced Manufacturing experience (SMT, PTH, FATP or Assembly)
  • Proactive self-starter with strong presentation and project management skills
  • Advanced Reliability Engineering exposure (reliability testing, ESD, Weibull, ORT, DRDT)
  • Travel willingness up to 35–40%
