B.Sc. graduates or diploma holders with SAP knowledge and exposure to manufacturing or steel plant

Qualifications

• Experience in yard operations, material handling, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily yard operations including material receipt, storage, identification, handling and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement, stock, and inward/outward transactions.
• Prepare, verify and maintain delivery challans, material receipts, gate passes, and other documents.
• Enter, update and monitor material and inventory records in SAP.
• Coordinate with Stores, Logistics, Production, Security and other departments to ensure smooth yard operations.
• Maintain documentation filing and retrieval of records.
• Monitor material availability and assist in stock verification and reconciliation.
• Ensure accuracy and timely updating of all records and reports.
• Follow company procedures, housekeeping standards and safety guidelines within the yard.

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Yard Supervisor cum Document Controller to oversee daily yard operations manage material movement maintain inventory records and handle documentation using SAP and computer-based systems The candidate should have good computer skills strong coordination abilities and experience in material documentation wherever applicable

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily yard operations including material receipt storage identification handling and dispatch
• Maintain accurate records of material movement stock and inward and outward transactions
• Prepare verify and maintain delivery challans material receipts gate passes and other relevant documents
• Enter update and monitor material and inventory records in SAP
• Coordinate with Stores Logistics Production Security and other departments to ensure smooth yard operations
• Maintain proper documentation filing and retrieval of records
• Monitor material availability and assist in stock verification and reconciliation
• Ensure the accuracy and timely updating of all records and reports
• Follow company procedures housekeeping standards and safety guidelines within the yard

Required Skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in yard operations material management inventory control stores or document control in a manufacturing or steel plant environment will be preferred B.Sc. Graduates (Freshers): Freshers can apply if they possess good computer skills and basic documentation knowledge. B.Sc. Graduates (Experienced): Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with hands-on SAP experience. Diploma Holders: Fresher or 1-2 years of relevant experience, with SAP knowledge and good computer proficiency.
