Job summary

Almarai, a leading dairy and food manufacturing group in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Poultry Production Leader. You will guide a cross-functional team to efficiently intake poultry, process products to meet internal standards, and uphold quality and safety compliance.

You will manage production planning with the PMT, conduct HACCP audits, and drive SOP development while ensuring operational excellence and safe practices. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Poultry Processing / Food Technology; computer literate.
• Min 2 years’ experience in a poultry environment; experience finalizing daily production plans with Production Management.
• 4 years’ experience in a poultry/food environment; HACCP audits; SOP development; plant commissioning; risk assessments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong people management, decision making, problem solving, team building, and communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead a self-directing, multi-functional team to efficiently intake poultry and process products meeting internal customer requirements within performance parameters.
• Ensure target product specifications, quality and safety standards are achieved.
• Collaborate with Production Management to finalize and implement daily production plans and maintenance activities.

The Role:

To lead a self-directing, multi-functional team to efficiently intake of poultry and process specified poultry products to meet internal customer requirements within management performance parameters efficiency, loss-in-process, zero non-conformance by the targeting the right product specifications, quality and safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• Diploma in Poultry Processing /Food Technology or related discipline Computer literate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position within a poultry food environment, Experience in finalizing and implementing the daily Production plan with Production Management team regarding production and maintenance activities.
• 4 years’ experience in a similar position within a Poultry /Food environment, Conduct Internal Quality /HACCP Audits, Propose deification/process optimization in order to improve service level of department, Well versed with developing systems, SOPs and plant commissioning Experience in conducting Safety and Risk Assessments.
• Excellent written and spoken of English.
• Competencies such as; People Management skills, Decision making skills, Problem solving skills, Team building skills, Able to handle work pressure, Ability to communication effectively verbal and written.
