Job summary

Almarai is seeking a skilled supervisor to manage a self-directing, multi-functional poultry processing team, ensuring output meets internal customer requirements while upholding product specifications, quality, and safety standards.

The role requires a degree in Poultry Processing or Food Technology, 2+ years in a similar role, and strong English proficiency. Certifications in HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000 and supervisory management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Poultry Processing /Food Technology or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and HACCP.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position within a Poultry or food environment.
• Experience managing multinational and multifunctional workforce.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Preferred certifications in Supervisory Management, Internal Auditing, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000.

Responsibilities

• Lead a self-directing, multi-functional team to efficiently intake poultry and process specified poultry products.
• Ensure adherence to Product Specifications, Quality and Safety standards.
• Finalize plans/targets with production management for production and maintenance activities.

The Role:

To manage a self-directing, multi-functional team to efficiently intake poultry and process specified poultry products to meet internal customer requirements within management performance parameters (Efficiencies loss-in process, zero non-conformance) ensuring adherence to defined Product Specifications, Quality and Safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• Degree in Poultry Processing /Food Technology or related discipline Working knowledge and understanding of implementation of international Quality Standards like ISO 9000 and HACCP. Computer literate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position within a Poultry or food environment. Experience in high volume operational environment. Handled a multinational and multifunctional workforce Experience in finalizing plans /targets with production management team with regards to production and maintenance activities. Maintain safe working environment and minimizing accidents. Exposure in automated process control production
• Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining international quality standards, including ISO 9001 and HACCP, along with strong computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Preferred to have certifications in Supervisory Management, Internal Auditing, and recognized food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000.
• Competencies such as; Graduation Degree in Poultry or Food Science. Knowledge of implementation of international quality standards. Propose plant modifications and process optimization to reduce cost and improve service level. Co-operative with superiors’ peers and subordinates. Able to manage a multinational and multifunctional workforce. Able to develop a team environment and boost the output level of employees. Able to work in co-ordination with multicultural workforce. Able to train people for required jobs and develop a multicultural workforce.
