Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Riyadh is seeking a skilled kitchen professional to prepare meals, regulate oven temperatures, and ensure quality and presentation of dishes. You will handle food thawing, portion control, and garnishing while maintaining logs and following safety procedures.

In this role, you will assist in hiring training and coaching staff, maintain professional appearance, and support the team to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator.
• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of prepared food.
• Communicate assistance needed during busy periods and inform Chef of excess items.
• Inform F&B staff of menu specials and out of stock items.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and food prep checklist.
• Prepare and cook according to recipes and standards.
• Prepare cold foods and other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
