We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Engineer (Design and Optimization) to support advanced system design, performance modeling and techno-financial evaluation for various on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar projects.

The Solar PV Engineer (Design and Optimization) will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing solar PV systems to ensure maximum energy production, cost efficiency, and grid compliance. The candidate must have strong experience with solar PV simulation tools and hands‑on knowledge of PV system configuration, site assessment and project documentation.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV engineering, with at least 1 years working in Saudi Arabia/UAE in the same field.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic (speaking and writing), Bengali preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge in designing On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid solar PV systems as well as ESS.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s grid standards, electrical & electronics compliance requirements, and SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) regulations.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are certified in relevant areas (e.g., SCE Registration, SEC-approved Solar PV Engineer, or equivalent).
  • Expertise in solar PV simulation and design software such as PVsyst, SketchUp, Helioscope, etc.
  • Ability to analyze customer load patterns and develop accurate load profiles.
  • Competence in conducting site feasibility studies for solar system deployment.
  • Strong technical writing skills for preparing project profiles, technical specifications, product standards, offer letters, and professional presentations.
  • Experience in supporting sales teams technically and providing client presentations.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and conduct on‑site visits in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven experience in project implementation, commissioning, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and engineering of solar energy systems, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and documentation for solar projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on solar technologies, system components, and integration with other energy systems.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and innovations in solar energy technology.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine solar resource potential and identify potential challenges.
  • Prepare comprehensive feasibility studies, considering technical, financial, and regulatory aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and regulations, codes, and standards related to solar energy projects.
  • Interface with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Qualifications s Certifications
  • B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
  • SEC Solar PV Engineer approval (preferred).
